The successful candidate will advance data science, analytics, and big data ecosystems, with strong Python and R skills and a background in applied machine learning and statistical modeling.

Teaching core data science courses online and on-campus, developing advanced emphasis areas, and contributing to health equity

Qualifications

• Terminal Degree (PhD, MD, ScD).
• Ability to operate effectively within data-intensive computing environments and ecosystems, with analytic expertise in omics data and bioinformatics, and possess a deep working knowledge of machine learning, statistical modeling, and data mining.
• Successful attainment of extramural funding and demonstrated research expertise evidenced by a substantial publication record in high quality journals.
