Job summary

Rowan University invites applications for a 10-month Tenure-Track Faculty Position in Statistics and Data Science. The ideal candidate will develop a research program in statistics and data science applied to health and life sciences, including biostatistics, epidemiology, and AI methods for biomedical data.

The applicant should hold a Ph.D. in statistics, biostatistics, data science, or a related field, with postdoctoral experience preferred.

Qualifications

• PhD in statistics/biostatistics/data science or related field required.
• Postdoctoral experience preferred or expected for strong candidates.
• Candidate should have potential to develop a funded research program in health-related applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain an active, externally funded research program in health-related statistics and data science.
• Teach at undergraduate and graduate levels in Mathematics and Data Science.
• Collaborate with Rowan's medical schools and health-related centers for interdisciplinary projects.
• Contribute to service in the Department, College, and University.
