UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas is seeking a Data & Quality Improvement Analyst to turn data into actionable insights that elevate behavioral health care. You will pull from Epic and other large databases, design dashboards, and collaborate with clinicians and operations leaders to drive quality and performance improvements.

This role emphasizes data governance, documentation, and clear communication of complex analytics to support clinical and regulatory decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare, computer science, nursing, mathematics, or relevant field.
• Master's Degree in related field preferred.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification preferred.
• Experience with Power BI and/or Tableau preferred.
• Strong understanding of Excel functions, formulas, data manipulation, and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and automate clinical, quality, operational, and performance metrics.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated reports and dashboards for decision-making.
• Extract, validate, transform, and summarize data from Epic and large databases.
• Develop data processes to automate recurring reports and regulatory reporting.
• Analyze data to track clinical processes, operational performance, and KPIs.
