Merck invites you to join the Future Talent Program in our Research Lab Division for up to 12 weeks of hands-on projects designed to develop your skills in clinical data management. You will work with a team to support data collection, validation, and database readiness, gaining exposure to cross-functional collaboration across sites and time zones.

As part of the internship, you will be guided by senior staff and participate in creating and maintaining project plans, learning essential data

Qualifications

• Candidate must be working towards completion of a B.A. or B.S. degree in life sciences, computer science or related discipline.
• Candidates must be available to work full-time for up to twelve (12) weeks beginning June 2027
• Candidates must have interest in learning Clinical Data Management

Responsibilities

• Develops detailed project plans for collection, review, and cleaning of clinical data.
• Serves as project manager of clinical data management activities for trials as assigned.
• Project planning, initiation, execution, change control, and closing.
• Project team development, leadership, meeting management, and resource coordination.
• Risk management planning and escalation as necessary.
• Defines trial-level requirements for quality data collection and validation.
