Job summary

Zifo is seeking a data platform engineer to design and operate the data infrastructure for a clinical trial design platform. You will build ingestion pipelines from protocols to publications, model entities in Aurora and GraphDB, and develop embedding pipelines for LangGraph workflows.

The role emphasizes data quality, API exposure, and regulatory traceability, collaborating across BI and engineering teams.

Qualifications

Strong Python development experience with PDF/text extraction libraries.
Experience with relational and graph data models in Aurora and GraphDB.
Hands-on with graph databases and query languages (Cypher, SPARQL).
Proficiency with AWS data pipelines and Terraform/AWS CDK.
Experience building APIs with FastAPI and data-serving layers.

Responsibilities

Build ingestion pipelines for protocols, documents, and articles with PDF parsing.
Design data models for trial design entities and relationships.
Develop embedding and vectorization pipelines for RAG workflows.
Create ETL/ELT workflows and ensure data quality validation.
Expose curated datasets via Python/FastAPI APIs to frontend and agents.
Implement data lineage and regulatory traceability for AI outputs.
