Job summary

MSD is seeking a skilled professional to join our clinical data programming and data engineering team. You will design, implement, and validate data systems spanning EDC, RTSM, and eCOA/ePRO, ensuring governance and compliance across the study lifecycle.

You will develop advanced reporting solutions, optimize data quality, and mentor junior colleagues while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a hybrid work setting.

Qualifications

• B.A./B.S. in Biotechnology or related field; CS/healthcare backgrounds considered.
• Minimum 3 years in clinical data programming, data engineering, or related data-management/clinical operations.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, SAS, and R for data workflows and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Build, integrate, and maintain clinical databases and study systems with governance.
• Design, develop, test, and maintain clinical tech systems (EDC, RTSM, eCOA/ePRO).
• Develop tools to streamline design, build, and validation workflows.
• Mentor junior colleagues and contribute to onboarding and knowledge sharing.
• Lead UAT and translate requirements into technical specs for reporting standards.
