Job summary

Merck is seeking a QA/Testing specialist to create and execute QC testing and UAT procedures for electronic data capture systems, in-life data review, and clinical databases. You will report testing results and work with cross-functional teams to ensure data standards and project consistency in database design, data collection, and retrieval.

The role requires experience with EDC, data validation, and SQL, Python, Java, Jira, Power BI, GitHub, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree preferred in mathematics, science, health care related discipline, or computer science.
• 2+ years of System Development Lifecycle Management / system validation knowledge.
• Knowledge of database structures and tools to manage, extract, and report data.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute QC testing and UAT procedures for EDC systems, in-life data review reports, and clinical data management databases.
• Documentation and reporting of testing results.
• Collaborate with functional area representatives to ensure standardization and project-level consistency.
• Possibly write test scripts and provide peer reviews of UAT documentation.
• Comply with SOPs and ICH-GCP guidelines.
