Job summary

MSD is seeking a Clinical Systems Implementation Team Lead to manage validation, implementation, and adoption of applications supporting clinical trials. The role includes people management and collaboration with Global Clinical Development, IT and vendors to meet business needs with a quality focus.

The lead will ensure SDLC compliance, data governance, and audit readiness, and will guide monthly leadership discussions, internships, and quarterly business reviews with other team leads.

Qualifications

• Must have strong experience in clinical systems implementations and SDLC compliance.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams including IT, QA, and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Partner with SMEs and IT to independently assess business needs and identify innovative solutions.
• Monitor technology trends and map capabilities to business requirements aligned with GCTO strategy.
• Develop high-impact business cases for innovation and drive pilots from concept to scale with due diligence and audit readiness.
• Collaborate with UX to gather user feedback and ensure optimum user experience.
• Engage sponsors to understand strategy and shape technology roadmap for existing solutions.
• Define KPIs to measure outcomes and success of technology implementations in clinical operations.
• Provide workstream leadership for technology initiatives as needed.
• Create change and communication plans to support adoption and share best practices.
• Provide system ownership for assigned systems, including migrations and decommissioning.
