Job summary

Cook County Health seeks a Manager of Clinical Data Analytics to lead aggregation, development, and maintenance of nursing quality data, metrics, and dashboards. You will support decision making, ensure data integrity, and enable nursing leadership with actionable reports.

You will collaborate with the BI team, quality department, and other areas to drive performance improvement and regulatory compliance through data-driven insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; official transcripts at interview.
• Four (4) years of healthcare experience in Quality, Patient Safety, and/or Data Analytics.
• Experience in creating, managing, analyzing, and interpreting clinical data for outcomes.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Forms, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Performs data validation and integrity functions for the Department of Nursing.
• Coordinates data collection/aggregation, validation, analysis, and report generation (NDNQI and guidelines).
• Develops quality metrics; creates area dashboards and tracks data trends.
• Trains Nursing Leadership in quality reports and dashboards.
• Submits reports on regulatory mandated and program quality metrics.
• Analyzes trends and develops action plans for improvement.
• Collaborates with teams to implement monitoring and measurement tools.
• Coaches others in performance improvement activities.
• Assists in developing NDNQI metrics, nurse satisfaction and clinical outcomes plan.
• Generates complex Excel reports and graphs of clinical and operational data.

Education

Bachelor's degree in a related field

Master's degree in Healthcare/Health Informatics/Public Health/CS/Biostatistics
