Job summary

BayMark Health Services, Inc. is seeking a Counselor Supervisor in Lafayette, IN to oversee counselors and interns delivering treatment and casework services in compliance with laws and BayMark policies.

You will ensure timely documentation and identify patient needs while managing related expenditures within budget. The role requires Indiana LAC/LCAC, 3+ years in substance abuse settings, and proven supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Must hold a LAC or LCAC in Indiana.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience working with chemically dependent individuals.
• Must have supervisory experience, be self-motivated and directed.
• Must demonstrate a positive, non-judgmental attitude toward our patient population.
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office; familiarity with EMRs is a plus.
• Satisfactory drug screen and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Assign counselors’ caseloads and amend when necessary.
• Conduct QA file reviews.
• Direct and supervise all intake operations.
• Ensure efficient and effective delivery of counseling services to all patients.
• Ensure accurate and current clinical records are maintained per Federal and State Regulations.
• Maintain counseling caseload.
• Provide direct supervision and assist in staff development.
• Act as Treatment Center Director when absent.
• Perform other related duties as determined by supervisor.
