Job summary

Centerpoint - Versailles is seeking a Clinical Coordinator (RN) in Surgery. This full-time role offers a 7:00 am–3:30 pm schedule, Monday through Friday, with no weekends, no holidays, and a $10,000 sign-on bonus tied to a 2-year commitment.

The Clinical Coordinator RN supports unit coordination, schedules staff, and ensures high-quality patient care. Requires an active RN license and 1–2 years surgery RN experience; ACLS/BLS as noted.

Qualifications

• Current state RN license.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing school.
• 1–2 years minimum experience as a Surgery RN (circulation, PreOp, PACU & Infusion).
• 2–4 years critical care experience preferred.
• BLS required; ACLS preferred.
• Handle with Care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate staff scheduling, educational/development activities, and performance evaluations.
• Identify and resolve issues affecting delivery of clinical services and patient flow.
• Perform quality assurance studies and assist with QA/QI initiatives.
• Serve as a resource to staff and external contacts regarding clinical standards, policies, and procedures.
• Monitor departmental compliance with accreditation, legal, and Joint Commission requirements.
• Provide direct patient care as needed in accordance with scope and standards of practice.
• Participate in performance improvement and continuing education.
• Provide quality patient care and work other shifts/units as needed; may be assigned on-call.

Our general surgery staff consists of expert surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses and technicians all dedicated to performing successful operations and promoting comfortable healing and recovery. Our most common surgical services consist of endo, ortho, and pain procedures. Due to the high volume of outpatient procedures, our surgery staff do not work weekends or holidays.

• 2 OR Suites
• 1 Endo Suite
• 1 PACU Bay

How you'll contribute

Our Clinical Coordinator RN'sprovide direct patient care using the nursing process and supports unit coordination activities to promote safe, high-quality outcomes. Serves as a resource to staff and assists with scheduling, education, and performance initiatives.

As a Clinical Coordinator RN you will:

• Coordinate staff scheduling, educational/development activities, and performance evaluations.

• Serve as a resource to staff and external contacts regarding clinical standards, policies, and procedures.

• Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What we're looking for

Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess an associate or bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:

• 1-2 years minimum experience as a Surgery RN- must be experienced in circulation, PreOp, PACU & Infusion
• 2-4 years critical care experience preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred
• Handle with Care preferred
