Centerpoint Health - Versailles is seeking a Nurse Technician for the Medical-Surgical unit to support inpatient care during night shifts. Under RN supervision, you will help with basic patient care, vital signs, and safety, contributing to high-quality patient experiences in a collaborative setting.

The role requires a high school diploma and a Nursing Assistant certificate is preferred, with certs like BLS and Handle with Care expected within defined timelines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (or equivalent) required.
• Nursing Assistant Certificate (SRNA/CNA) preferred.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Handle with Care certification required within 7 days of hire.

How you'll contribute

ANurse Technician who excels in this role:

• Under the supervision of an RN, assists in assuring optimal patient care.
• Provide basic patient care, including bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility assistance
• Monitor and record vital signs, and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff
• Assist nurses with procedures, including room setup and basic wound care under supervision
• Transport patients and maintain clean, stocked, and organized patient care areas
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and dignity while following infection control protocols
