Job summary

Centerpoint - Georgetown, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Clinical Coordinator RN to join our perioperative team. The role includes circulator and endoscopy duties, with 5 8-hour shifts or 4 10-hour shifts per week, and a sign-on up to $10,000 for eligible candidates.

You will supervise and document patient care, prepare suites, coordinate with the care team, and support perioperative patients throughout the continuum while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Current Kentucky nursing license.
• Associate's degree in nursing from an accredited nursing school.
• BCLS required; ACLS and PALS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs plan of care interventions including medication administration and other medical care activities.
• Documents patient care provided.
• Monitors and communicates patient condition to the care team, physician, patient and family.
• Prepares, positions and transports patients for procedures.
• Prepares surgical and endoscopy suites with solutions, scopes, equipment and supplies.
• Assesses and cares for patients throughout perioperative process.
• Operates specialized equipment and maintains a safe environment.
• Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate patient care and transfers.
• Provides patient and family education appropriate to age, culture, and condition.
• Assists patients with daily living activities and advocates for well-being.
• Participates in performance improvement and continuing education.

Education

Associate's degree in nursing

Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred
