The incumbent will work with Nursing Coordinators to facilitate throughput, drive quality benchmarking, and apply evidence-based practices in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state of Florida.
• Masters degree in Nursing required.
• National nursing certification required within six months of hire.
• Minimum of two years in clinical specialty.
• Demonstrates autonomous and accountable nursing practice with knowledge and application of patient care outcomes management.
• Demonstrates ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to ensure excellence in nursing research, education, and practice.
• Oversee daily staffing and unit-based follow-up of issues affecting patient care needs.
• Lead staff development and performance evaluations.
• Collaborate with Nursing Coordinators to facilitate throughput and patient satisfaction.
• Represent the Nurse Manager/Director when needed.
