Job summary

Responsibilities include providing and overseeing clinical care for a group of patients, organizing priorities, supervising RN, CNA, HUC staff, collaborating with physicians and leaders, and driving quality and patient

Qualifications

• RN license with current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Three years of acute care clinical experience.
• Two years in the specialty area of practice considered a plus.
• BSN preferred; if not available, enroll in BSN program within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provides and oversees clinical care for a group of patients.
• Organizes and prioritizes clinical responsibilities; provides direct supervision to RN, CNA, HUC staff.
• Collaborates with physicians, Department Director, Medical Director, and other clinicians regarding patient needs.
• Fosters a patient-centered culture with rounding, AIDET, and bedside shift report.
• Engages in staff development, coordinating inservices and identifying department learning needs.
• Supports performance improvement and Lean activities and maintains department policies and procedures.
• Maintains regular communication with the department and attends assigned meetings.
• Ensures compliance with regulatory and accrediting standards.
