Job summary

Live On Nebraska seeks a Clinical Coordinator to manage the organ donation process from donor assessment to organ recovery. This role supports hospital staff across Nebraska, coordinating care and documentation to maximize donor potential and transplant opportunities.

The position blends remote and on-site work at donor hospitals, offering a dynamic environment within our Clinical Services team. Strong communication and organization are essential to ensure regulatory compliance and timely

Qualifications

Active RN, RT, Paramedic/EMT with clinical OPO experience.
Critical care or emergency care experience required.
ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications (or ability to obtain).
Familiarity with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, Meditech) and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Strong organizational, critical thinking, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Manage the full organ donation process from donor assessment to organ recovery.
Coordinate with hospital staff across Nebraska for donor management and regulatory compliance.
Perform on-site donor assessments and educate hospital teams on organ donation procedures.
Lead allocation huddles and manage logistics for surgeon travel and on-site support.
Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR and ensure regulatory compliance throughout the process.
