Job summary

Live On Nebraska seeks a Clinical Coordinator to guide the organ donation process from donor assessment to organ recovery, with duties performed both remotely and on-site at Nebraska hospitals.

You will collaborate with hospital staff to optimize donor management, coordinate surgeon travel, and ensure meticulous documentation in the EMR. This role requires RN/RT/EMT licensing and critical care experience, with certifications in ACLS/PALS/BLS.

Qualifications

• Licensed Registered Nurse (RN), Respiratory Therapist (RT), and EMT, or prior clinical experience in an OPO.
• Critical care or emergency care experience required.
• ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications (or ability to obtain).
• Familiarity with EMR systems and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Manage the organ donation process from donor assessment to organ recovery.
• Work remotely and on-site at donor hospitals across Nebraska.
• Collaborate with hospital staff to optimize donor management.
• Coordinate logistics for surgeon travel and on-site support.
• Lead allocation huddles and ensure documentation is complete.
• Oversee the recovery process and post-recovery debriefings.
