Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality clinical care delivery
  • Develop, implement, and monitor clinical protocols and best practices
  • Coordinate team meetings to optimize patient care plans
  • Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for clinical staff
  • Collaborate with leadership to support strategic goals and quality improvement initiatives
  • Manage resource allocation and clinical workflows to enhance operational efficiency
  • Facilitate communication between all departments
  • Identify and address clinical risk factors to improve patient safety
  • Perform routine laboratory tests and collect specimens as instructed
  • Administer medications and injections
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records and documentation
  • Maintain nursing stations and examination areas in a manner consistent with OSHA standards.
  • Exhibits a high degree of courtesy and poise when interacting with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals
  • Perform X-Ray and EKGs
  • Assist Occupational Medicine staff with as needed
  • Performs other related duties assigned by management

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or GED AND 1-2 years of related experience in a medical setting. Must obtain and maintain BLS certification.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills

Physical Demands and Work Environment
  • Frequently required to walk, sit, and stand
  • Occasionally exposed to bloodborne and airborne pathogens or infectious materials
  • Occasionally required to travel for training purposes and attend at least two community clinic events each year.
