The ideal candidate will have state certification in AOD Counseling, 3 years of SUD experience, and a commitment to recovery-oriented care.

Qualifications

• Clinical intake, assessment, and service authorization experience.
• Experience coordinating counseling services and treatment plans.
• Strong documentation, billing compliance, and reporting skills.
• Ability to engage with clients, families, and community partners.

Responsibilities

• Provide intake, assessments, and authorization for services through county, Medi‑Cal, or other insurers.
• Develop recovery plans for detox, residential, intensive outpatient, and outpatient services with counseling support.
• Deliver individual and group counseling as needed.
• Oversee daily treatment operations, including case management and service delivery.
• Monitor contracts and follow up with funding sources to ensure continuity of services.
• Ensure billing accuracy, utilization reviews, and compliance with state and private insurance requirements.
