Qualifications

• State certification in AOD Counseling required.
• Three years of experience in substance use disorder treatment with individuals affected by alcohol and/or drug addiction.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work with diverse populations in a community setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide intake, complete assessments, and obtain authorization for client services.
• Develop initial recovery plans for detox, residential, intensive outpatient, and outpatient services.
• Deliver individual and group counseling as needed.
• Oversee daily treatment operations, case management, and timely service delivery.
• Monitor billing, utilization reviews, and compliance with private insurance and state programs.
• Coordinate with funding sources and serve as liaison to the community through outreach.
