Hunterdon Health is seeking an experienced ED nurse to oversee patient flow, staffing, and assignments in a fast-paced department. The role requires strong clinical leadership, collaboration with EMS and other care teams, and adherence to DOH and hospital regulations.
The ideal candidate has a New Jersey RN license, BSN or pursuing BSN within 5 years, and at least 3 years of acute care experience, with essential certifications including BLS, ACLS, and PALS.

Responsible for facilitating patient flow through the unit, reviewing staffing and creating nursing assignments, supervising patient care, expediting tests and services with other departments, and ensuring compliance with all DOH, TJC, and hospital regulations.
All hires after July 2012 are required to have a Bachelor's Degree in nursing OR if Associates Degree or Diploma, RN must be actively enrolled in a BSN program and complete within 5 years of hire date or internal RN promotion date.
Certificate and/or Advanced Specialized or Technical Training Progressive Care or Med-Surg.
3 years acute care nursing experience.
Current New Jersey RN licensure, BLS, ACLS, PALS, CPI, stroke training 8 hours per year
Trauma and sexual assault training is required within 1 year of hire.
Current American Heart Association CPR Certification
ACLS and PALS required within 6 months of hire
Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) or other related specialty certification.
Complete yearly competency based program, use hospital approved equipment, excellent communication and conflict resolution skills, well organized and able to remain calm under stress, delegate appropriate tasks, knowledgeable in both DOH and TJC regulations and hospital policy and procedure.
