Hunterdon Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician in the Emergency Department to provide compassionate, hands-on care in a fast-paced setting. The role supports direct patient care, ensures patient safety, and collaborates with the interdisciplinary team.

The Patient Care Technician (PCT) in the Emergency Department provides compassionate, hands-on care to patients in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. The PCT works collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to assist with direct patient care, ensure efficient operations, and support patient safety and comfort. Key responsibilities include performing EKGs, collecting blood samples, splinting extremities, and assisting with the safe lifting and transport of patients. The PCT also provides clerical support as needed to maintain smooth departmental workflow.

Previous hospital experience as a nursing assistant, EMT or physician office patient care experience.
Phlebotomy experience preferred.
Normal basic patient care equipment, wheelchairs and stretchers. Good interpersonal and communication skills.
