Job summary

Cardiology Consultants of Philadelphia is hiring a full-time Administrative Support/Clinical Coordinator to join our South Philadelphia office. On-site role focusing on scheduling, patient coordination, and front-desk support within a cardiology practice.

The position offers a $500 sign-on bonus and requires coordinating appointments, testing, and procedures while ensuring accurate data entry and patient communication. Benefits include comprehensive plans and PTO.

Qualifications

• Experience scheduling patient appointments and coordinating tests.
• Familiarity with EMR workflows or medical software.
• Ability to handle high-volume inbound and outbound calls.

Responsibilities

• Schedule patient appointments, testing, follow-ups, and surgical procedures
• Coordinate surgical scheduling to ensure a smooth process for patients and clinical teams
• Obtain prior authorizations and precertification for office testing and procedures, including echocardiograms, nuclear stress tests, stress echocardiograms, vascular testing
• Review testing instructions with patients and confirm upcoming appointments
• Enter charges during patient visits and designated downtime
• Handle high-volume inbound and outbound calls using proper phone etiquette
• Record and relay messages accurately using EMR workflows and appropriate medical terminology
• Route urgent or emergency calls appropriately
• Support front desk operations by greeting patients, verifying demographics and insurance, and collecting copays
• Perform general clerical and administrative duties as needed
• Maintain accurate contact information for physicians and staff
• Complete other duties as assigned

CCP specializes in providing comprehensive cardiology care and currently has over 30 locations throughout the Philadelphia area. We are currently hiring for a full-time Clinical Coordinator to work at our South Philadelphia Office.

Please note this role is entitled to a $500 sign-on bonus.

*If you are hired, and assuming your employment is in good standing, you will receive the sign-on bonus. The bonus will be paid to you no later than 30 days following your start date. In the event that you voluntarily terminate your employment or the Company terminates your employment for cause within 6 months of your date of hire, you will be required to repay the full amount of your sign-on bonus.
