Job Details

Clinical Coordinator assists the program director in clinical and administrative responsibilities for the operation of the EMCP Outpatient Psychiatry Program. This includes managing clinicians within the EMCP Outpatient Behavioral Health Department. The Clinical Coordinator has direct responsibility for supervising social work interns and Recovery and Peer Specialists within the Behavioral Health Department. Additionally, the Clinical Coordinator provides clinical services to a diverse age population, including children, adolescents, adults, middle-aged, and geriatric patients, demonstrating an understanding of their developmental and functional ages.

Job Description

Essential Functions

  1. Assists Program Director in supervision and management of the Outpatient Department.
  2. Participates in Quality Assurance and Improvement activities.
  3. Provides evaluation and psychotherapy services.
  4. Provides weekly supervision of interns and Recovery/Peer Specialists, conducts performance evaluations, offers feedback, discusses goals and accomplishments, and ensures staff competence.
  5. Assists in preparing the outpatient center for regulatory inspections.
  6. Performs other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

  • Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records, including scheduling.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Master's Degree and Licensed Clinician (LMFT, LCSW, LPC).
  • At least two years of management and supervision experience.

Minimum Certifications, Registration or License Requirements:

  • LCSW, LPC, or LMFT.
