Join Our Team as an EPSDT Coordinator - Clinical at Meridian of Illinois

Note: This position is remote/work from home, and applicants must reside in Illinois. The work schedule is Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM Central Time.

Position Overview

As a clinical professional on our Medical Management/Health Services team, you will play a key role in monitoring and facilitating member access to the Early Preventative Screening Diagnostic Testing (EPSDT) program. Your responsibilities include:

  • Planning, organizing, and coordinating all aspects of the EPSDT program.
  • Ensuring compliance with all state and federal requirements and NCQA standards.
  • Promoting preventative health strategies and engaging with community partners.
  • Outreach to enrollees to encourage access to preventative care and assist with appointments.
  • Collaborating with providers regarding EPSDT services, including immunizations and blood testing schedules.
  • Participating in health fairs and community events.
  • Developing newsletters, articles, and web content related to EPSDT.
  • Developing and implementing improvement plans to meet or exceed performance goals.
  • Coordinating with internal departments for outreach and intervention strategies.
  • Facilitating EPSDT reviews and follow-up activities initiated by the state.
  • Representing the organization in external EPSDT meetings.
  • Analyzing reports for variances and outliers, and recommending improvements.
  • Completing all mandated reports accurately and timely.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned, in compliance with policies and standards.
Qualifications

Minimum of 2+ years of clinical nursing experience. Community relations or public health experience is preferred. Must hold a current state RN or LPN license. Residency in Illinois is required.

Compensation and Benefits

Pay range: $26.50 - $47.59 per hour. Benefits include competitive pay, health insurance, 401K, stock purchase plans, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, holidays, and flexible work arrangements including remote, hybrid, or office schedules.
