Job summary

Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital in Santa Clarita, CA is seeking an RN Clinical Coordinator for the Recovery Room. The role focuses on daily departmental operations during the 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM shift, delivering high-quality, patient-centered care and coordinating unit functions.

The successful candidate will supervise the shift, manage clinical nursing practice, and ensure efficient use of human and fiscal resources while upholding regulatory standards and fostering collaboration across disciplines.

Qualifications

Job Description

In collaboration with the Service Line Director and unit Manager, the RN Clinical Coordinator is responsible for the daily departmental operations, and ensures and delivers high quality, patient-centered care and coordination of all functions in the unit/department during the designated shift.

Provides shift supervision and day to day management of clinical nursing practice, patient care delivery, human, fiscal and other resources, development of personnel, compliance with regulatory and professional standards, issue resolution and fostering interdisciplinary collaborative relationships within the Department and the organization as a whole. Consistently models commitment to the organization’s vision/mission/values to support an unparalleled patient experience and clinical outcomes that contribute to overall departmental performance.

Qualifications

Licensure and Certification:

• Current California RN License
• Current BLS provider card through American Heart Association

Education

• AA degree, Bachelor’s/Master’s preferred
• Member in professional organization preferred

Experience

• Two (2) years current acute care nursing experience.
