Job summary

Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital in Santa Clarita, CA is seeking an RN Clinical Coordinator for the Behavioral – Days shift. This full-time role supports daily departmental operations and delivers high-quality patient-centered care during the 7:00 AM–7:30 PM shift.

Responsibilities include shift supervision, management of nursing practice, resource coordination, regulatory compliance, and fostering interdisciplinary collaboration to improve outcomes and patient experience.

Qualifications

• Current California RN License.
• Current BLS provider card through American Heart Association.
• National Certification in clinical area of expertise preferred.
• Current MAB/VIP certification.
• Current LPS certification.
• AA degree; Bachelor's/Master’s preferred.
• Two years' acute care nursing experience.
• One year progressive charge nurse experience.

• Provide shift supervision and day-to-day management of nursing practice and patient care delivery.
• Manage human, fiscal and other resources; develop personnel and ensure regulatory compliance.

In collaboration with the Service Line Director and unit Manager, the RN Clinical Coordinator is responsible for the daily departmental operations, and ensures and delivers high quality, patient-centered care and coordination of all functions in the unit/department during the designated shift.

Provides shift supervision and day to day management of clinical nursing practice, patient care delivery, human, fiscal and other resources, development of personnel, compliance with regulatory and professional standards, issue resolution and fostering interdisciplinary collaborative relationships within the Department and the organization as a whole.

Consistently models commitment to the organization’s vision/mission/values to support an unparalleled patient experience and clinical outcomes that contribute to overall departmental performance.

Qualifications

Licensure and Certification

• Current California RN License
