Job summary

Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital in Santa Clarita is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a full-time ICU/med-surg role. The RN will independently apply the nursing process to care for a patient group, following HMNHS policies and regulatory standards.

Required are a California RN license, BLS/ACLS, and at least 1 year ICU experience. Cardio-Vascular and Trauma care background are preferred, ASN mandatory with BSN encouraged.

Qualifications

• Current California RN license.
• Current BLS and ACLS provider cards.
• Minimum 1 year ICU acute hospital experience.
• Cardio-Vascular (open heart) and Trauma Care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to a group of patients using the nursing process in accordance with HMNHS policies and regulatory requirements.
• Safely, therapeutically and efficiently care for patients, ensuring quality outcomes and compliance.

Qualifications

Licensure and Certification

• Current California RN license

• Critical Care course or equivalent experience preferred

Education

• Associate's degree in Nursing (ASN) required
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) strongly preferred

Experience

• Minimum 1 year ICU acute hospital experience required
• Cardio-Vascular (open heart) experience preferred
• Trauma Care experience preferred
