Novotech in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Contracts Manager to partner with Sales, Legal, Finance and Operations to ensure contracts are accurate, compliant, and executed efficiently. You will build and maintain full scope clinical study budgets in Excel, support contract negotiations, ensure templates and policies are followed, and drive timely execution to meet revenue targets.

The role emphasizes risk awareness, process improvement, and cross-functional communication in a fast-paced CRO

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of CRO contracts/operations experience.
• Experience building and maintaining clinical budgets in Excel.
• Working knowledge of commercial contracts and approval workflows.
• Strong written and verbal communication; detail oriented.
• Ability to manage multiple deals and apply policies consistently.

Responsibilities

• Review and process customer contracts, amendments, renewals, and related documents.
• Build and maintain full scope clinical study budgets in Excel with macros and price mapping.
• Partner with finance to forecast and maintain revenue flow.
• Ensure agreements align with templates, policies, and fallback positions.
• Support contract negotiations by redlining terms within guardrails.
• Drive timely contract execution to meet deal timelines and revenue targets.
• Follow standard intake, review, approval, and execution processes.
• Identify deviations or risks and escalate appropriately.
• Use contract management and CRM tools to manage workflows and status.
