Job summary

Syneos Health is hiring a Customer Contract Manager to own and manage complex contracts and change orders, coordinating with Project Leads and Business Development. The role emphasizes budgeting, contract accuracy, and proactive risk management to support revenue targets.

The ideal candidate has 4–7 years in budgeting, finance, or contracts within a clinical research/pharma environment and strong Excel/Word skills. Some travel and collaboration with Project Managers and Customers are expected.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in Business Administration or Finance with 4–7 years of budgeting, finance, proposal development and/or contracts management experience in a clinical research/pharma setting or equivalent.
• Strong customer-centric, proactive approach with flexibility to rapidly adjust priorities.
• Excellent problem solving, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks under deadlines.
• Knowledge of budgeting concepts and costing models; proficient in Excel/Word.

Responsibilities

• Owns and manages complex contracts and change orders with a focus on customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate and finalize contractual instruments and budgets to align with scope of work.
• Negotiate and prepare contracts, budgets, and related documents for clinical trials.
• Drive revenue targets through workload management and delivery planning.
• Develops customer relationships and maintains timely CRM and contract management records.
• Provide mentoring and training to Contract Analysts; support quality control.
