ABOUT US

Our Mission: TheMednet is a physician-facing question and answer platform that connects the world’s top academic physicians with innovative technology to share knowledge that improves patient care across the country. Started in 2014 in oncology, it now includes over 37,000 specialists across all 11 internal medicine subspecialties, neurology, and dermatology. TheMednet has been featured in Inc. Magazine as a company shaping the future of medicine and recognized in the New England Journal of Medicine as a vital resource for physicians.

Our Founders: We are a physician and engineer from Yale and MIT, respectively. Frustrated by the difficulty in accessing expert knowledge not found in textbooks or guidelines, we created theMednet to document and democratize expert insights for physicians everywhere.

Our Team: Our team includes clinicians, medical educators, engineers, and researchers from institutions and tech companies like Google, Spotify, and Microsoft. We are innovative, optimistic, and mission-driven.

Our Culture: Our culture is driven by our mission and values: putting users first, maintaining a can-do attitude, taking ownership, and treating each other well. Our top priority is ensuring our decisions help physicians make better patient care decisions.

Our Partnerships: We have received funding from organizations such as the National Science Foundation, Y Combinator, the SWOG Hope Foundation, and the Bonnie Addario Lung Cancer Foundation. We collaborate with groups committed to research, education, and high-quality care, including the NCI, ASCO, ACR, and ANA.
