The American Academy of Ophthalmology is looking for a dynamic and experienced Clinical Teams Content Specialist to join our Practice Management Department for Ophthalmic Professionals (AAOP). This is a fully remote position with occasional travel to events.

AAOP is the Academy’s professional home for ophthalmic technicians, scribes, and clinical team members. We support the delivery of exceptional physician-led care through education, training, and career development. If you're passionate about teaching, curriculum design, and driving excellence in clinical team performance, we want to meet you.

In this role, you’ll:

• Create and deliver technician training content for live and virtual courses, webinars, and publications
• Lead private consulting engagements with ophthalmic practices to optimize clinical workflows
• Oversee committee engagement and content development for the Academy's annual meeting
• Manage AAOP’s educational community and quarterly Clinical Teams Express newsletter

We’re looking for a certified ophthalmic technician with at least 5 years of hands-on experience, stellar communication skills, and a passion for empowering others.

Salary Range: $72,000 – $95,000 + bonus

Location: Fully remote (U.S. based) with up to 10% travel
