The Ohio State University’s Wexner Medical Center seeks a Chaplain to deliver spiritual and emotional care to patients, families and staff in assigned clinical areas. The chaplain partners with the health care team to assess needs, provide interventions, and document care in the medical record.

Responsibilities include crisis support, staff education on spiritual care, mentoring chaplain residents and interns, and contributing to the CPE program through teaching.

Qualificações

• Certification by AP Chaplains, NAC or NACCh required within 3 years if not certified at hire.
• Bachelor's or higher theological degree required; 4 units of CPE.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsabilidades

• Provide spiritual and emotional support to patients, families and staff.
• Assess spiritual, religious and emotional needs and document in medical records.
• Offer crisis support/response for patients, families and staff.
