Job summary

ChenMed LLC in Indiana is seeking a Care Promoter 1 to support a physician-led care team. This role blends administrative and clinical duties under direct physician supervision to keep the medical centers running smoothly.

You will help provide compassionate, patient-centered service to our senior population. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, completion of a Medical Assistant/EMT/Paramedic program, at least 1 year of relevant experience, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Graduate from Medical Assistant, PCT, EMT or Paramedic program.
• Minimum 1 year of work experience as MA/PCT/EMT/Paramedic.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification required.
• Experience with geriatric patients is a plus.
• EMR system experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Measure and record patient vital signs and medical history.
• Catalog patient needs and relay to PCP and clinicians.
• Prepare patients for exams and assist with procedures.
• Observe patients and report changes to the PCP.
• Perform non-critical medical procedures as directed.
• Collect lab specimens and perform basic waived tests.
• Prepare medications, dressings, and basic first aid.
• Process patient calls and coordinate messages with the team.
• Call in prescriptions with physician approval.
