Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Graduate from Medical Assistant, Patient Care Technician, EMT or Paramedic program.
• Minimum 1 year work experience in medical support role.
• BLS certification for healthcare providers.
• Experience with EMR systems preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Measure and record patient vitals and medical history.
• Communicate patient needs to PCP and clinical staff.
• Prepare patients for exams and assist clinicians during visits.
• Observe patient conditions and report changes to the PCP.
• Perform basic waived lab tests and collect specimens.
• Prepare and administer medications under physician supervision.
• Maintain supplies, equipment, and OSHA standards.
• Handle patient calls and relay information to the physician.
• Assist with prescribed medications via ChenMed Rx system when authorized.
• Provide health coaching to a defined group of patients with weekly follow-ups.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
