Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have CMA/RMA or NCMA/CCMA or equivalent certification within 12 months of hire.
• BLS certification required within 3 months of hire.
• Mandatory Reporter abuse training within 3 months of hire.
• Proficient in basic computer skills (Windows, MS Office, web navigation).
• Must read, write and understand English; effective communication with patients and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care through patient preparation, vital signs collection, and documentation.
• Administer medications, treatments, and immunizations under provider direction.
• Prepare and organize patient charts and ensure documentation completion.
• Schedule procedures, labs, imaging, and surgeries; provide pre/post information.
• Coordinate patient follow-ups and maintain continuity of care.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to organizational standards and ethics.
