Job summary

CarePath Injury Centres in Carlisle, PA is seeking a full-time Clinical Care Assistant to support a busy injury, accident and pain management practice. You will handle patient check-in/out, scheduling in the EHR, follow-ups for no-shows, paperwork, and coordinating with medical staff in a welcoming, detail‑oriented environment.

Preferred candidates hold a health-related bachelor’s degree, familiarity with EHR systems, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in health related field preferred.
• Familiarity with EHR systems.
• Ability to learn office operations from front desk to patient clinical care.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish welcomed but not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and create a welcoming environment.
• Manage patient check-in and paperwork, check-out and scheduling in the EHR system.
• Follow up with patients due to no-shows or cancellations.
• Answer and direct phone calls and schedule patients in the EHR system.
• Retrieve patient records and obtain/update patient paperwork.
• Maintain sanitary protocols and clean exam rooms/main office area as needed.
• Communicate effectively with office staff and supervisors.
