Circle the City is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant/CNA for the Midtown Medical Respite Center in Phoenix, AZ. The role supports patient admissions, vital signs, and ongoing care coordination with providers during shifts.

You will maintain accurate records in the EHR, communicate effectively with a diverse patient population, and assist with discharge planning and related clerical tasks to ensure high-quality care and operational efficiency.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of a Certified Nursing Assistant and/or Medical Assistant program and/or equivalent medical course.
• Minimum of one year of related healthcare experience preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• CPR certification required.
• Bi-lingual - Spanish highly desired.

Aufgaben

• Collaborates with providers to determine work assignments and priorities and communicates task outcomes.
• Maintains timely verbal communication to ensure patient care and center operations.
• Acts as liaison between providers and respite staff.
• Obtains and records accurate routine patient vital signs.
• Assists with new patient admissions and discharge of current patients.
• Tracks quality metrics and follows up on imaging/lab results and prior authorizations.
• Documents in the EHR all aspects of patient care.
• Performs clerical tasks and general copying as needed.
• Treats patients with confidentiality, rights and dignity.
• Performs other duties as required.
