Job summary

Circle the City is a rapidly growing nonprofit providing holistic healthcare to people experiencing homelessness in Maricopa County. The Medical Assistant role provides clinical and clerical support under Physician/Nurse Manager direction to ensure continuity of patient care.

The position involves assisting in examinations, maintaining data accuracy, and helping with patient transport and triage in a fast-paced clinic setting focused on underserved populations.

Qualifications

• 1 year of MA experience.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• CCMA certificate preferred.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with MA Lead/Nurse to determine tasks and priorities.
• Maintain timely verbal communication for patient care.
• Collect, collate and enter patient data accurately.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and dignity.
• Check inventories, orders, and stocks.
• Assist patients with personal hygiene as needed.
• Ensure clean, orderly, and functional work environment.
• Facilitate patient transportation.
• Phone coverage and triage when necessary.
