Job summary

MACT Health Board, Inc. is seeking an experienced Back Office Manager for a Full Time role in a clinical setting. You will supervise back office staff and perform nursing duties within your license to support patient care.

Candidates must hold California RN with 1 year management, or LVN with 2 years, or CMA with 5 years, plus CPR and BLS/ALS credentials. Travel to all sites and a variable schedule are required.

Qualifications

• Current California Registered Nurse with 1 year clinical management experience.
• Current California LVN a minimum of 2 years clinical management experience.
• Current California Certified Medical Assistant with 5 years clinical management experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide orientation, training and competency assessment of the medical support staff.
• Provide leadership to medical support staff to ensure compliance with scope of practice.
• Assist with ambulatory care procedures and patient care under supervision as needed.
• Perform basic nursing tasks and support patient care per organization protocols.
• Ensure referrals and scheduling of patient referrals are addressed in a timely manner.
• Maintain effective communication with front office and care team.
• Keep tracking systems up-to-date and ensure staff are trained on EHR.
