Job summary

LGTC Group in the San Francisco Bay Area is seeking an Associate Therapist (AMFT, ASW, APCC) to provide individual and group therapy within IOP and PHP settings for adolescents and adults under supervision.

The role emphasizes ethical, evidence-based, and culturally responsive care, with opportunities to build strong clinical skills toward independent licensure in a high-acuity program.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in MFT, Counseling, Social Work or related field.
• Active AMFT, ASW, or APCC registration in California in good standing.
• Legally authorized to practice under supervision in California.
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience preferred.
• Experience in higher levels of care (IOP, PHP, residential, or inpatient) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an individual caseload of adolescent and adult clients under supervision.
• Conduct assessments and contribute to individualized treatment planning.
• Provide ongoing case management including discharge planning and care coordination.
• Monitor client progress and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Facilitate family and collateral sessions as clinically indicated.
• Facilitate group therapy sessions, ensuring safety and engagement, and adhere to curriculum.
• Collaborate with supervisors and treatment team on high-risk cases and safety protocols.
• Attend required clinical supervision and comply with regulations and ethical standards.
• Collaborate with clinicians, psychiatry, and program staff to ensure continuity of care.
