Job summary

Winchester Hospital is seeking a part-time Clinical Associate to assist with daily living activities, vital signs, and patient comfort. You will support transport, specimen handling, and basic point-of-care testing under RN supervision.

The role requires a high school diploma (preferred) and BLS certification, with possible pathways for CNAs or nursing students. A CATP completion or clinical experience is also acceptable. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/equivalent strongly preferred.
• BLS – Basic Life Support certification required.
• Must have CNA or nursing student with clinical experience or CATP completion.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with activities of daily living
• Repositioning and ambulating patients
• Making occupied and unoccupied beds
• Assisting in transporting patients, beds, supplies and equipment
• Collecting, labeling and transporting specimens
• Retrieving and signing out blood products
• Accurately performs point of care testing
• Obtains vital signs and weights
• Maintains accurate intake and output measurements
• Removes Foley catheters and saline locks
