Job summary

Winchester Hospital is looking for a part-time Clinical Associate to support patient care in a 223-bed regional hospital northwest of Boston. The role involves assisting with daily living activities, transporting patients and supplies, and recording vital signs under nursing supervision.

Qualifications

• Reading, writing and speaking English is required.
• BLS certification is mandatory.
• CNA or nursing student with clinical rotation considered.
• 3 months of clinical care experience preferred.
• Successful completion of CATP is required.
• Basic computer skills are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living.
• Reposition and ambulate patients.
• Make occupied and unoccupied beds.
• Assist in transporting patients, beds, supplies and equipment.
• Collect, label and transport specimens.
• Retrieve and sign out blood products.
• Accurately perform point-of-care testing.
• Obtain vital signs and weights.
• Maintain intake and output records.
• Remove Foley catheters and saline locks.
