Job summary

Winchester Hospital, a 223-bed regional hospital, seeks a Clinical/Administrative Associate to assist on the unit and provide administrative support to the care team. Responsibilities include ADLs, vital signs, EKGs, specimen handling, and chart maintenance.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, with CNA or nursing student experience and a Clinical Associate Training Program graduate preferred. Excellent English communication and customer service skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CNA or nursing student with clinical rotation.
• Three months clinical care experience.
• Graduate of Winchester Hospital’s Clinical Associate Training Program.
• Preferred: at least one year of administrative support experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and administrative assistance on the unit.
• Perform basic procedures to support patient care, comfort, and safety.
• Assist with ADLs, ambulating patients, making beds, transporting patients.
• Collect/label/transport specimens, obtain vital signs, perform EKGs.
• Welcome and orient patients, families, and visitors to the environment.
