Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health (BILH) is seeking a part-time Clinical Associate at Winchester Hospital to support daily patient care. The role involves assisting with activities of daily living, helping reposition and ambulate patients, and performing basic routine tasks under nursing supervision.

You will collect specimens, perform point-of-care testing, monitor vital signs, and ensure accurate intake/output records.

Qualifications

• Reading, writing and communicating effectively in English with patients, visitors and hospital staff.
• Basic computer skills are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with activities of daily living
• Repositioning and ambulating patients
• Making occupied and unoccupied beds
• Assisting in transporting patients, beds, supplies and equipment
• Collecting, labeling and transporting specimens
• Retrieving and signing out blood products
• Accurately performs point of care testing
• Obtains vital signs and weights
• Maintains accurate intake and output measurements
• Removes Foley catheters and saline locks
