Job summary

The Glenn Hopkins – Hopkins, MN hiring a Clinical Assistant Staffing Coordinator to support the DON and clinical team with staff scheduling, documentation, and resident care coordination. Hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, with a pay rate of $24–$26 per hour.

You will coordinate schedules with the RN/DON, maintain accurate records, assist with therapy coordination, monitor resident health indicators, and provide education on care procedures to staff, fostering a safe, resident-centered

Qualifications

• Experience in home health, assisted living, long-term care, or a related healthcare setting preferred.
• Staff scheduling or staffing coordination experience preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with initiative and minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate clinical staff schedules with RN/DON, including open shifts, call-offs, time-off requests, and coverage needs.
• Maintain accurate staff schedules, availability, and scheduling records.
• Verify resident service schedules and updates under RN/DON supervision.
• Maintain resident charts and clinical documentation per regulations.
• Coordinate with Rehab regarding therapy start/end dates and staff follow-through.
• Monitor vital signs, weights, and pulses; report health changes to clinical staff.
• Coach Assistants on care procedures, resident engagement, and one-to-one interactions.
• Promote resident participation in activities and educate staff on dementia care.
• Attend staff meetings and support regulatory compliance during surveys.
