The Seidenberg School of Computer Science and Information Systems at Pace University invites applications for a non-tenure track Clinical Assistant Professor to teach undergraduate courses in Computer Engineering with lab-based instruction. The appointment begins Fall 2027 for one year, renewable annually, emphasizing hands-on circuits and embedded systems.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree (or doctoral candidate/PhD) in computer engineering, electrical engineering, CS, quantum computing or related field.
• Evidence of effective and inclusive teaching.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Prior university-level teaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate Computer Engineering courses with integrated laboratories and hands-on projects.
• Develop new lab modules, maintain equipment, and help build state-of-the-art learning spaces for circuits, digital design, and embedded systems.
• Advise students; supervise capstone design teams and undergraduate research.
• Contribute to curriculum development, assessment, and ABET preparation; support program growth and community/industry partnerships.
• Participate in service to the School, University, and profession; contribute to an inclusive and equitable learning environment.
