Job summary

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED with ability to read, write and comprehend medical terminology.
• Experience as a nurse aide or completed nurse aide training or PLA competency based training.
• AHA-BLS certification required within 6 months of hire or valid certificate on file.

Responsibilities

• Patient Care: assists RNs to provide responsive, service-oriented patient care.
• Testing: conducts various patient tests and specimen collection as directed by RN.
• Clerical: front door to the unit, providing customer service and clerical support.
