Job summary

International Executive Service Corps is seeking a Medical Assistant to support essential clinical and clerical tasks in a healthcare setting. The role includes phlebotomy, minor lab work, and coordination with Providers to ensure quality patient care.

The candidate should have a high school diploma, experience giving injections, and familiarity with EMR systems, office procedures, and medical terminology. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, plus professional interpersonal skills

Qualifications

High school graduate or equivalent.
Experience giving injections (e.g. flu shot).
Knowledge of office procedures and equipment.
Typing and medical terminology experience.
Must be organized and able to multitask.
Positive and professional service-oriented interpersonal and communication skills.
Knowledge of growth and development across the lifespan and ability to assess patient data.

Responsibilities

Plans and develops interactions with Providers for health-related services aligned with current standards.
Identify the unique physical and emotional needs of each patient.
Collaborates with Physicians regarding patient condition, orders, and treatment plan.
Demonstrates knowledge of department structure and communication lines.
Maintains ongoing educational experiences for skill level.
Performs other duties as assigned.
