Job summary

Mia Aesthetics is seeking a Clinical Assistant in Missouri to support pre-surgery patients and ensure accurate patient records. The role requires bilingual English/Spanish communication, a High School diploma, and a current BLS certification. Strong verbal and written skills and knowledge of medical terminology are preferred.

You will assist with patient prep, charting, and paperwork, while maintaining patient confidentiality and compliance with regulations in a fast-paced clinic environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
• Medical Terminology knowledge preferred.
• Holds and maintains an active Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish required.

Responsibilities

• Verifies patient information by communicating with a patient.
• Prepares patients for examination by performing preliminary physical tests, taking blood pressure, weight, and temperature.
• Records appropriate patient information on patient charts and/or Salesforce.
• Secures patient information and maintains patient confidence by completing and safeguarding medical records.
• Counsels patients by transmitting physician’s orders and questions about surgery.
• Assists in preparation of charts, pre-admission, and consent forms.
• Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by establishing and following standards and procedures as well as complies with legal regulations.
• Upkeep’s inventory of supplies as needed.

Requirements

The Clinical Assistant is responsible for attending to patients’ pre-surgery and ensuring all relevant patient information is collected and recorded in preparation for surgery.
